Privacy

The short version

Shipr Games has no ads, no accounts and no analytics. We do not ask for your name, email address or age, and we do not track you around the web.

What is saved on your device

To remember your progress, the games save a few things in your own browser using local storage and IndexedDB: your best scores, the level you picked, whether sound and music are on, your theme and age filter, any ideas you voted for, and your latest drawing in Splash Studio.

This stays on your device. Clearing your browser data erases it, and it is not shared between devices.

Suggesting a game

If you send an idea from the ideas board, we receive the game name, the description, the age you chose and the optional first name you typed. Please do not include personal details. Ideas are used only to decide what to build next.

If the shared ideas board is switched on, votes are stored with a random device id that is not linked to a person, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address is used for a short time to stop spam.

Hosting

The site is delivered by a hosting provider, which, like any web host, may keep ordinary server logs for security and reliability. We do not add any third-party scripts, fonts or trackers to the pages.
