Maze Adventures: a free learning maze game for kids
Play Maze Adventures free Ages 4+.
Maze Adventures is a maze game where every level hides a little puzzle. A garden, castle or forest maze appears, and your hero has to find the right things scattered along its paths before the exit flag unlocks: the letters of a word in order, the numbers that add up to a total, every red circle, every even number.
Mazes are made fresh for every level. Every five levels the maze grows and gets twistier, and every ten levels you travel to a new world, so there is always a next one. It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with no download, no ads and no account.
How to play
- Pick an age level on the title screen: Little explorers (counting, letters, colors and animals), Explorers (spelling, skip counting and sums) or Adventurers (big mazes, keys, multiples and primes).
- Choose your hero. Rose, Max, Luna, Aria, Sir Finn and Pip each come with a pet friend, and new heroes unlock as you earn stars.
- Read the goal at the top, for example "Spell CAT" or "Pick two numbers that make 9". Then walk your hero to the matching letters, numbers or pictures in the maze.
- Drag anywhere on the screen to walk, or tap a spot and your hero finds the way there. On a keyboard use the arrow keys or WASD.
- A wrong pick just wobbles back, so there is no penalty for trying. When the goal is complete the exit flag lights up. Reach it to finish the level.
- Stuck? Tap the light bulb for a glowing path to the next thing you need. Later mazes add locked gates, and you have to find the key first.

Questions parents ask
Is Maze Adventures really free?
Yes. It is free to play with no ads, no in-app purchases and no sign-up.
What age is it for?
Ages 4 and up. Little explorers suits ages 4 to 6, Explorers suits 7 to 9, and Adventurers is for 10 and up.
How many levels are there?
There are 30 levels across three worlds (a rose garden, a castle courtyard and an enchanted forest), and then the game keeps going with bigger, twistier mazes in each world again. There is no last level.
Do the mazes repeat?
Every level is generated from scratch, and the maze grows bigger and twistier every five levels, so each one is different. If you replay a level you get the same maze again, which helps when you want to earn all three stars.
How do I earn three stars?
One star for reaching the exit, a second for making no more than two wrong picks, and a third for finishing without using a hint (and, in Adventurers, within the target time).
Does it work on a phone or iPad?
Yes. It adapts to portrait and landscape, and you steer by dragging or tapping. Nothing needs installing.
Does it save my progress?
Your stars, your hero and your place in each level are saved in your own browser. There are no accounts, and nothing is sent anywhere.
