Splash Studio is a free online art studio for kids. Draw with crayons, markers, a rainbow pen, spray paint and glitter, stamp on stickers, or pick a coloring page and fill it in with the paint bucket.

Your colors always stay underneath the outlines on a coloring page, so you can scribble freely and the picture still looks neat. Your drawing is saved automatically on your own device, and you can save it as a picture or share it.

How to play

  1. Pick a tool: crayon, marker, rainbow, spray, sparkle, stickers, fill or eraser.
  2. Choose a color and a brush size. Tap the color wheel to make any color you like.
  3. Draw with your finger, a stylus or a mouse. Turn on Mirror or Kaleido to paint in two or four directions at once.
  4. Open Coloring pages for a fish, flower, rocket, house, butterfly or cat, then use the bucket to fill each shape.
  5. Undo and redo as often as you like, then tap Save to download your picture or send it to Photos.

Yes. It saves automatically in your browser on that device, so a refresh or a closed tab will not lose it. You can also save the picture as an image.

Does it work on an iPad or with an Apple Pencil?

Yes. It works with fingers, styluses and a mouse, and the brush gets thicker with a harder press when you use a pencil.

Can I print the coloring pages?

You can color them on screen and then save or print the finished picture from your device.
